  1. I think both Luke and Brandon did a very good job with this presentation.I liked how they gave background information in order to set the tone and help people to understand the importance. One thing i found to be extremely interesting or to stand out that was said is that he won the Brown vs. Board of Education case with an unanimous vote. That's pretty amazing considering the time and issue being so controversial. One piece of constructive criticism i would give this group would be to maybe include a little more about his personal life to give us a better idea of who he is as a person.

  2. Thurgood Marshall was iconic, you guys made that very clear. Your research was well done and I could tell that you guys put the time into practicing and polishing it before class. I could also tell that you guys had an even division of labor, someone was always talking or explaining, that was well done. I will echo Grant's criticism, I think it would have been more complete if a bit more personal information were included. This was one of the best of the groups and my personal favorite to watch, good job guys.

  3. I learned that he won 29 out of 32 cases which is amazing. You guys did an amazing job presenting the information and delivering it to the class. the only thing that could make this better was a few more pictures and background information about Thurgood.

  4. I had little to no knowledge about Thurgood Marshall before this presentation and I think that you were able to give us an in-depth summary of who he is and what he did. I liked how your presentation was structured well and was easy to follow. I found it interesting that he was a supreme court justice. Some constructive criticism for you would be that that you could have done more to talk about his early life.

  5. I did not realize how much Thurgood Marshall accomplished in his lifetime. To win 29 out of 32 Supreme court cases is cases it incredible. Your presentation was very organized and planned out well. The only criticism would be to have had more pictures of him throughout the power point.

  6. I honestly had not heard much about Thurgood Marshall, but absolutely loved hearing about his many accomplishments. As others mentioned above the most interesting fact that I learned was that he won 29 out of 32 Supreme court cases, which is an amazing, and difficult accomplishment. The presentation was very well organized and I felt like the group was very informed and practiced. The only criticism I would have was to potentially throw in a bit more background information, but other than that the presentation was very well done and interesting to listen to.

  7. I've heard of Thurgood Marshall, but never had known how he was iconic. Your presentation was very knowledgeable to me, and I found it quite amazing that he won 29 out of the 32 Supreme Court cases. That goes to show how powerful of a man he was. I could tell you guys knew your facts and it was enjoyable to watch. Some constructive criticism would be to maybe talk about his earlier life a bit more and how he got to be the man he is best known for. Nice job!

  8. I've always heard of Thurgood Marshall in history class but never knew why he's so iconic. I was surprised to learn that he won 29 out of 32 cases in the supreme court THAT'S JUST INSANE. The presentation could have been more complete if they informed us what qualities he had that he was able to win 29/32 supreme court cases. But overall I would consider this the best presentation.

  9. I liked the fun facts inserted throughout your presentation, for example his nicknames. I learned that Thurgood Marshall won 29 out of 32 cases he argued. The most famous case Thurgood Marshall defended for was Brown vs Board of Education and he won. He fought to make the "separate but equal" unconstitutional. He won with a unanimous vote 9-0! i thought that was incredible because that is very hard to get. I also liked the picture of the map of the united states that showed where segregation was. One piece of criticism i would give you is to maybe have more pictures! Overall you both did wonderful!

  10. I really loved the amount of information that was poured into this presentation. There wasn't too much on him personally though just his actions.
