  1. I always thought Pac-man was a successful game and they made lots of money off of it but I learned the truth about it and how it wasn't always successful. You both seemed like you knew a lot about video games and have a passion for them which made the presentation more interesting. One thing that kind of left me confused was why was this such a big deal what did it do to the industry, adding some of that would have helped. Also you two seemed pretty good but I think the presentation needed some more practicing.

  2. What i really liked about this project was that they included a lot of great information. I thought it was extremely interesting that they had over 10,000,000 copies left over that they steam rolled and cemented into the desert. The fact that they took it to the extreme to dispose of them shows how important t was. One piece of constructive criticism i would give is that I would have liked to know how much they paid to make all these games, how much money they lost, etc. Dollar signs and such. Overall i thought it was a great presentation and very interesting!

  3. What I liked and learned from this presentation was how well you explained how the crash even started, and giving pictures to represent and let us see what the games looked like. Most everyone has heard of Pac-man, but it was neat to see how it has evolved over the years. Some of the constructive criticism I would give is to explain how much money they lost, not selling as many copies as they actually made of the games. Overall, good job though. I learned things I never knew!

  4. I learned a lot from this presentation! I never knew that pac-man wasnt successful at first! I loved all the statistics you both gave about the different video games and when you said, "There were so many people making video games that even dog companies were making and selling video games" which really helped explain how basically anyone could have made the game. One piece of constructive criticism I would give to you was probably to have your statistics on a separate piece of paper to pass around so we could see the numbers and analyze them instead of just hearing numbers. Overall, you both did a wonderful job!

  5. This was a very neat topic. I did not know much about this before at all, so it was cool to learn more. The stats and info were above par, and it was easy to understand how people saw the situation at the time. The only thing I would have changed was to better define the fame systems of the day, and how big of an influence they were at that time.

  6. I was aware of some of the legends that surrounded the crash. That being said, you guys did a very effective job of explaining the circumstances and folly that caused it. It was well explained and well done in general. my only criticism is that there seemed to be little animation, what i mean by that is that you guys kept the same tone throughout where animation and inflection might have been more effective. Overall you guys did a very strong presentation and I learned a lot.

  7. The fact that dog companies were making video games shocked me. I had never heard about the video game crash before so, it was really interesting to hear about all the things that lead up to the crash. I feel like the only thing that could have been changed was just a little more practicing together.

  8. This was a very fascinating presentation as I did not know anything about the Video Game Crash of 1983. One of the facts that I found interesting is the fact that almost any company could produce and sell their own video games. Also, I found it neat that pac-man, an iconic game today, did not sell as well as expected when it originally came out. The only thing I think that could have made this presentation better was that it could have been better organized and practiced a bit more. Overall, it was a very interesting topic and presentation.

  9. Presentation was great and i was really surprised that the company made 12 million copies when they only had 10 million systems out. I think i would have added was a picture of the system, and one of the game cartridges

  10. The presentation was neatly presented, and like Brandon mentioned in his comment I always thought Pac-man was a very successful game, which wasn't always the case. I never knew that "E.T." was a game, so thats something interesting I learned about this game. One think they could have paid more attention to would be the reason why these games failed in the market and how did pac-man became popular later on.

  11. I enjoyed the presentation. It was interesting to learn about the cartridge burial. I would have added more images to the slideshow.
