  1. I really liked your presentation it was planned very well and I really like how you got the audience involved and gave us scenarios and had some of us read them. You could tell you put a lot of work into in. Some things that I would have liked to know were like how long did the snow stay around, major power outages and maybe some more facts from other states. But overall you both gave a great presentation.

  2. What i really liked about this presentation is the scenario cards. I think it was an excellent way to show what had happened to people who were caught in the blizzard of 1978 and what choices or decisions they made while also being fun and attention catching. The only piece of constructive criticism i can think of is that more eye contact would have made the presentation better. But overall the content was amazing and it was a great presentation!

  3. This presentation was well planned and it showed that they practiced presenting it multiple times before their actual presentation. One thing I really enjoyed were the notecards with the scenarios, which help put us in different situations occurring during that time. "Should you risk your life to save others? Yes police officers and firefighters used heroism thought the Blizzard of 1978". One piece of constructive criticism I would give is to have had the more statistically facts that you had in the presentation down on a piece of paper that you could have passed around that way we could analyze the data instead of just hearing the numbers. Overall, you both did wonderful!

  4. The presentation was obviously very well presented and thought out. The one thing that I enjoyed was the notecards that they passed out which were the different scenarios of the different people that were in the blizzard. Like the one with the trucker being stranded in the cold without electric heated blankets because he thought that he wouldn't need them. Then after hours of waiting for backup to come and rescue you, your backup never comes? Now, that's brutal. But one piece of constructive criticism I would give you is that the presentation could be a little louder, since they spoke a little quiet in some occasions.

  5. The preparation that went into this presentation was well thought out with the effective power point presentation and the card that were wrote out for the different scenarios that people went through during the blizzard. I liked how you were able to get so many facts about what happen during the blizzard. Some constructive criticism that I can give for this presentation would be that you to go more off the power point.

  6. I liked this presentation a lot. My mom and her family often recall this story. I enjoyed the individual scenarios, along with their consequences. It makes each person think about what it was really like to have been there. The only weak part of this presentation was the stats along with it. They could have been more adequately used. Good work.

  7. I enjoyed the presentation, both of you used strong descriptive words and did a good job of relating the event to today. You made effective use of powerpoint as a tool, but not as a crutch which is refreshing. I think that perhaps the activity went a little bit long and could be shortened slightly. Over all both of you did a very good job and started us off on a high note.

  8. Both of you did an amazing job! The subject was very interesting as well. One fact that really stood out to me was that winds reached to hurricane speeds. You used the power point very well and the video was also a great example of how the blizzard would have looked. The scenario cards were a great idea! The only thing that could have been changed was just to have the shorter scenario cards read a loud vs. the long ones. Over all you both did a great job!

  9. Loved the note, cards and the presentation was done really well. Ive always heard about this storm but never knew the details. The thing i would have changed would be a little more explanation of how it has affected the world

  10. The thing I really liked about this presentation is the use of note cards to get the audience involved in the presentation. I never knew about this storm so I learned a lot from this presentation The thing I felt was left out of the presentation was the aftermath of the storm. but besides that the presentation was well planned and well presented!

  11. I did not know anything really about the blizzard other than that it was a blizzard. The diagrams were great and very well presented. I personally loved the video and would only changed the card thing. I would have just explained the scenarios.
