The Final Exploration: Jorden Greene

Part 1

As I sifted through my past writing I found it hard to find something that I really liked. But I ended up choosing the following piece.

“Alright class, I’m going to take attendance. Everyone take your seats,” he proclaimed.

The rumble of chatter stayed constant through the whole attendance process but Lautar didn't seem to mind. He just never did, something was off though you could tell it in his confused expression. He always got that way when there was someone absent, and he always seemed to act as if a prisoner had escaped. He charged toward the phone and called the office to alert them. They replied, like always, by telling him that they were on the absent list. Later that class period I noticed my friends Adam and Jeyun standing awkwardly in the doorway.

For part two I'd like to talk about United Way. The United Way mission is "United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good." I personally have volunteered for United Way during High School, and loved it. We helped take care of people around the community, by mulching, and cleaning up yards. We completely remodeled peoples flower beds as well. It was an amazing experience and would recommend it to anyone.
