My fun fact was I have my fire card and I like to shoot guns.
I've grown up most my life if the little town of prospect Ohio, with my parents one brother and two sisters. I'm hoping to be a really skilled teacher in the next few years.

The poem that stood out the most to me was "bury me in free land" by Frances Harper. It is such a powerful message about how she did not want to leave this world where slavery was still such a major problem. She really expressed in great detail how she would feel if she died while slavery was bad. It was just a really emotionally filled poem that I've read multiple times and still get the same amount of emotional out of.
One of the most recent books to have meaning in my life was Looking For Alaska, by John Greene. The way the main characters acted with each other just made me look at my own personal life and my relationships with friends. It took me back to junior high with my friends and the struggles we went threw, and working threw the major issues we faced.
Hi Dillon, My name is Brandon Kilgore, I also like to shoot guns and so does my family. My favorite type of shooting is tarket shooting with a long rifle and skeet shooting.
ReplyDeleteI love to shoot anything that explodes, it is a lot of fun. I've always wanted to go skeet shooting looks like a ton of fun.
DeleteThat's awesome that you have you fire card, ive always thought firefighting would be a tough yet rewarding job! I also like to shoot guns and think it's always interesting to see and shoot a new gun.
ReplyDeleteI think it is really cool that you have your fire card, even if you don't pursue being a firefighter that is a good accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteThis might be a stupid question but what is a fire card? Is it bad that I don't know what it is? Also you said you wanted to be a very skilled teacher. What do you want to teach?
ReplyDeleteA fire card is just a certificate that says i can be a Firefighter anywhere in the state of Ohio. I also want to do early childhood education, i love working with little kids.
DeleteI didn't even think about the Glass Castle but I agree with you. I a lot of the times thought the parent's idea on how to parent was absurd but I also really enjoyed how they taught their kids very valuable life lessons. They taught their kids how to survive in bad times.
